A little late, but I didn't get home until Wednesday night.

In CA I stayed with :iconfongmingyun: :iconraydiant: :iconvusc: and :iconprodigybombay: who were good company, all.  We all got there a few days before the con and went to places like Pasadena, Santa Monica, and Disney Land!!   It was my first time at any of these places.  I touched the pacific ocean and pretended that I went all the way around the world.  The pier in Santa Monica looked just like the one from Rocket Power, but only Raydiant seemed to know the show... ha ha.  Special big thanks to fongmingyun for carting us around and letting us stay at her apartment for a few days!  And planning all the things we did, ha ha.

I tabled as I said with :iconyujlee:, :iconmontiray:, and :iconemokidswill:.  There was an empty table next to us so :iconcaptainosaka: came and took over that table. He let us spill over onto his table a bit so we had a pretty sweet two table kind of deal going on.  I hope we can do this again bros!

The convention itself was a lot of fun and I met some fine folks I knew from the internet like :iconheysoohee:, :iconfishnbacon:,  :iconlife-take:, Christine, and people I didn't know before like :iconanarahk:, Connie, :icontraptastic:, and a bunch of yujlee's friends.  Probably lots more too but it's a lot to remember aaaa. I feel like I'm forgetting someone important

:iconoh8: stopped by my table and that was sweet- I got a sketch from him and he bought a book.  :iconporkbun: also came by and traded me some Lavapunch books for Para-Ten.  Also awesome.

I also met a whole lot of Canadians from Sheridan, I don't think I could list them all.

Thanks for everyone who stopped by and made it a great experience.

There's probably more to write and lots of stuff I forgot, but I got things to do man.

Never before have I had so many icons in one post.

Once i'm done doing stuff I'll scan some of the sketches and stuff I got and post about it on tumblr.

NEXT UP OTAKON WOO

YEAH I saw her!! She walked right by my table so I went around to intercept her ha ha. She seemed pretty meek even to me ha ha. But she stopped by my table later and bought some prints and Para-Ten.

Pretty crazy, right?? And it's the second one, too!

Yeah!!! It was like I was in a cartoon. It's surreal that people actually live there. In Pasadena we just kind of walked around in the area... we went and checked out Concept Design Academy which was pretty cool! We were there just at night though, if I remember correctly. But I liked Pasadena because it was more walkable than any of the other places in the area, accept maybe Santa Monica,.

I'll try to come back when I can! Maybe if I win the DA Comic Con contest (Comic Con-test??). If I do we should hang out more outside of artist alley, ha ha.

This'll be my first time at Otakon but I'm excited!

Hm, I don't know! I think old town. Ah, really? 5-6 years is a long time! What are you doing there? I can't imagine knowing my future so far ahead. I don't know where I'll be the next 5-6 months...

old town is really fancy it's nice :D i'm starting a phd program at caltech in astronomy :X I definitely don't know what's at the end of that, or if i'll decide to complete it, but it's the best course for the options i have on the table right now heh. but you just graduated, huh? don't worry about not knowing where you're gonna be! i'm gonna be there but i honestly have no clue what's gonna happen or what i'll decide to do there (aside from classes hahaha)

Whoh, PHD! That's crazy! I often forget that's a thing people do... ha ha. That's really cool though- any idea what you're aiming for with it?

Yeah I just graduated- I don't mind so much not knowing where I'll be though. I sort of like the transience. The older I get, the more I realize how little it takes to be happy, so as long as I'm drawing and writing and not stagnating, I think I'll be ok.
