I wouldn't normally upload something this small to DA (I usually reserve sketches and exercises strictly for tumblr) but I thought this might be fun to look at, for old and new watchers alike. Especially considering that first drawing was uploaded here many years ago, at a time that I thought it was good.
I always wanted to do this sort of thing, ha ha. Redrawing an old picture… If I wanted to be exact I would have drawn it in pencil, but I don’t think it really matters.
Funny looking at the change over the years. Really, I think more than getting better (though I’m sure I have) the way I draw has just changed a lot, ha ha. Probably in a month I will look back at this, at the 2011 image, and think, “How embarrassing, that drawing isn’t better at all.” As it stands I certainly prefer my newer work, ha ha.
